Terms of Service

By using the ChecIt mobile app or checit.app, you agree to these Terms. ChecIt helps people discover food, use AI-assisted food tools, share food content, collaborate on carts, and request reservations. Place information may come from Google Places or another identified source. ChecIt is not affiliated with every restaurant shown.

Provide accurate signup information and protect your account. You control what you publish. Follows, blocks, and mutes shape your experience; reports may be reviewed by ChecIt moderators. Stories are designed for 24-hour audience delivery, but moderation, deletion, or owner archive records may remain.

Do not harass people, evade blocks, impersonate others, manipulate engagement, or misuse another person’s private information.

Joining a Tasting Room shares your display identity, presence, selected items, notes, and split amount with that cart’s participants. Review the final cart before any merchant next step. For reservations and waitlists, you are responsible for accurate party details, requests, and timely cancellation. A request is not confirmed until ChecIt or the restaurant shows a confirmed status.

Live restaurant calling and SMS remain unavailable until enabled for the applicable region and provider. If enabled, you must review the food or reservation request before a call. Chec identifies itself as AI, follows the approved consent flow, and does not accept payment-card details. SMS requires opt-in; reply STOP to opt out. Message and carrier rates may apply.

Paid plans bill through the App Store or Google Play when enabled. Trials and promotions may be limited by account and a one-way device hash. Cancel in store settings; refunds follow store rules and local law. Food is never an in-app purchase. Merchant, wallet, or approved provider terms govern any external food payment.

Paid placement is labeled Highlighted ✦. Businesses and creators must keep promotions, prices, availability, menu, and nutrition claims current and truthful. The label does not mean ChecIt guarantees the offer.

Do not scrape the service, bypass safety or billing, probe other users’ data, upload material you do not have rights to use, or post illegal, harmful, deceptive, non-food spam. You keep ownership of your content and give ChecIt the limited rights needed to host, process, moderate, and display it for the audience you choose.

Chec Health, calories, macros, allergens, and nutrition suggestions are informational and not medical advice. Always verify allergens, ingredients, prices, hours, availability, reservations, and order details with the restaurant or current source. AI output may be incomplete or wrong.

ChecIt may restrict content, accounts, or businesses that violate these Terms or create risk. The service is provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee a restaurant response, fulfillment, reservation, promotion, price, or uninterrupted availability.
